Volunteer requirements

If you have the following attributes, you have just what is needed to become a volunteer:

• Friendly, caring and a good listener
• Eager to learn and comfortable with older people
• Respectful of differences between us all
• Can be confidential and protect others' privacy
• Ability to build on your own strengths

Please Note:
To work with us, you may need a Police check and/or Department of Family and Youth Services check. As a volunteer registered with Helping Hand Aged Care you will be covered by our insurance policy for personal accident while engaged in authorised voluntary duties.
