Training

Training is an important aspect of our Volunteers. It provides knowledge on responsibilities, along with the opportunity for personal development.

Helping Hand Aged Care encourages and supports its Volunteers to assist them in performing their roles and to provide a safe environment.

As part of the registration process, all new volunteers are required to receive a corporate induction, site induction and site orientation. On-going training will be provided as determined as essential by the Volunteers’ supervisor or Volunteer Coordinator. Work Instructions and/or Safe Operating Procedures will be supplied in the use of relevant equipment and machinery as required by OHS&W regulations.
