Our organisation

Helping Hand Aged Care is a not-for-profit Uniting Church affiliated organisation which has been providing high quality aged care in South Australia since 1953.

We provide a wide variety of services, details of which can be found through our Services link.

Recently, Helping Hand has moved to integrate its residential and community services. Our intention is to provide a simpler system which is easy for potential clients and their families to understand, and which offers them choices about how and where they will be supported and makes access as uncomplicated as possible.

Helping Hand is recognised as one of the most progressive organisations in Australia in demonstrating how innovative services can maintain people’s wellbeing and independence. We also play a role in influencing policymakers and in forging links with the acute, disability and mental health sectors. We hope our new integrated organisational structure will keep us at the forefront of the aged care sector.
