This Saturday 7 August 2021 is Aged Care Employee Day, where we celebrate all team members involved in caring for older people, and say thanks for caring.
We invite you to post your thanks on Saturday on social media with the hashtag #ThanksforCaring and tag us so our team members can be celebrated for the incredible work they do. Aged Care Employee Day puts our everyday heroes in the spotlight, celebrates them, and highlights the many different roles of those involved in the aged care journey.
The work of care workers and nurses, allied health professionals, cooks and hospitality teams, drivers, cleaners and laundry employees, volunteers, leisure and lifestyle officers and administration teams – all contribute to creating communities and experiences that enable older people to live their best lives.
