Care Experienced History Month webinar – Helping Hand

Care Experienced History Month webinar

April is International Care Experienced History Month, where activists and allies come together to commemorate the history of people who experienced institutional or out-of-home ‘care’.
As part of the awareness month, the National Aged and Community Care Roundtable for Forgotten Australians is hosting a virtual event to share stories of Forgotten Australians and Care Leavers.
The webinar: Better-informed Aged and Community Care for Care Leavers, will focus on the barriers and concerns that Care Leavers have and raise awareness of the need for quality care and supports for Care Leavers/ Forgotten Australians as they age.
The webinar will be held on Wednesday 26 April from 2pm to 4pm AEST. Click here for more information and to register for the webinar on Zoom.
