ZestFest forum: Supported Decision-Making

Helping Hand is proud to present a free forum during COTA SA’s ZestFest 2018. Hosting the event at our Ingle Farm care home, the forum topic of Supported Decision-Making will appeal to carers, researchers and aged care staff.

Supported Decision-Making aims to assist people with cognitive impairment to stay involved in decision-making about their lives. This includes decisions relating to healthcare, finances, lifestyle and personal matters.

This presentation covers recent developments in human-rights approaches to decision-making. Dr Craig Sinclair (University of Western Australia) will draw on the latest research, and Ann Pietsch will share some of her views and personal experiences.

Please join us at Ingle Farm on Wednesday 10 October from 10:30am-11:30am.

This event is free and morning tea is provided
